The new Eemann Tech sear spring tool contains a small neodeum magnet which holds the sear spring very securely while the short part of the sear spring rests in a micro hole inside the tool. There are special relief cutouts in the tool that allow it to be properly positioned for installation.
The tool is made of brass, which is softer than the spring and thus will not damage it, but is hard enough to do the job.
