Ruger's Precision Rimfire .22 Long Rifle is a masterpiece of modern firearms engineering. The model is a compact version of Ruger's highly regarded long-range rifle, but maintains the same key features and is just as impressive in its performance.
The rifle's chassis is molded in one piece and filled with a combination of polymer and fiberglass, providing a rifle with minimal weight but maximum strength, stability and stiffness - the cornerstones of every accurate shot. With the right optics, ammunition and a skilled marksman, this rifle can accurately hit targets at up to 3-400 meters.
It has an adjustable Quick-Fit stock that can be adjusted in length and height so that the rifle fits shooters of all sizes. This adaptability also makes it possible to adjust for different clothing layers, seasons and shooting positions. An indicator mark makes it easy to return to previous settings.
The rifle is equipped with Ruger's Marksman Adjustable™ trigger that is externally adjustable between 2.25 to 5 pounds. The key for adjustment is hidden in a discreet compartment in the flask. An oversized bolt grip and adjustable bolt throw allows for a 1-1/2" bolt throw or a 3" bolt throw, mimicking the same bolt manipulation found on Ruger Precision® coarse caliber rifles.
The barrel is cold-hammered in 1137 alloy steel, which ensures optimal precision. The barrel is prepared for use with a silencer and has factory cut 1/2"-28 threads. The rifle is protected by a 15" free-float aluminum handguard with Magpul® M-LOK® slots on all sides for easy mounting of M-LOK compatible equipment . The rifle's receiver has an integrated Picatinny base for easy, stable and safe scope mounting.
