The SIG Sauer P320 MAX represents the culmination of SIG's expertise in firearms and competition shooting. It has a 5-inch match-grade bull barrel, a Dawson Precision fiber optic front sight and an adjustable rear sight. The trigger system has been upgraded with a flat surface and straight trigger shoe, which improves both precision and speed.
The gun's ergonomics are customized with a modular polymer grip that can be adjusted to different hand sizes and preferences, and features aggressive texturing for a secure and comfortable grip, even in wet or sweaty conditions. The P320 MAX has a 17+1 capacity and a reversible magazine release that makes it suitable for both left- and right-handed shooters.
Its reliability and durability are also at a high level, with a stainless steel slide and an internal recoil system that reduces felt recoil and improves reliability. The P320 MAX also features a TXG tungsten-infused heavy grip module, which increases the pistol's mass to 43.5 ounces, reducing recoil and muzzle flip.
SIG has also removed the front sight on the top, which was created specifically for competition use, and makes it easier to get a clear sight picture with the optic, theoretically making it faster to go from target to target.
