Silent Steel Streamer

The Silent Steels Streamer is an impressive silencer with a length of 195mm, designed to deliver maximum noise reduction. With the modular system, you can easily switch between different attenuation units depending on need: the flow module, which reduces gas pressure in self-loading weapons, or the baffle module for maximum sound reduction. Streamer is robustly built with options in both stainless steel and aluminum, and it can be fully disassembled for thorough cleaning.

How to choose your damper

Streamer module:

• Baffle streamer is intended for the repeater rifle. Baffle streamer dampens better than flow streamer, but conversely also increases the gas pressure, which is not desired on semi-automatic weapons, but has no effect on reperter weapons.
• Flow streamer is intended for the semi-automatic rifle. Flow streamer does not dampen quite as well as baffle, but in return the gas pressure does not increase in the system, which means you do not have to adjust the gas block when you take your damper on and off with a flow streamer. Silent Steel's flow streamer is what is called a "true flow through", which means that the pressure does not actually increase, unlike the vast majority of dampers on the market.

Material on damper body:

• Aluminum makes the suppressor light, but conversely, it cannot withstand a high shot cadence either. Is best for the baffle streamer module
• Stainless steel, makes the suppressor heavier, but conversely also makes the suppressor stronger and is therefore more suitable for higher rates of fire, such as with semi-automatic weapons. Is best for the flow streamer module.

Caliber:

• Choose the caliber of your hunting rifle, or the largest caliber among your hunting rifles so suppressors can be used on several weapons. Alternatively, contact us to purchase an additional silencer module in a different caliber (change kit for silencer).

Color:

• Choose your favorite color. If the color is not among them, the dampers can also withstand a trip with a round of spray paint!

Assembly:

TacDane basically offers 2 types of QD (quick disconnect) assembly for your silencer. If you want direct tread, i.e. you screw the damper directly onto the thread on the pipe, contact us at kontakt@tacdane.dk

• The M27x1.5 QD works by screwing the silencer directly down over your Silent Steel muzzle device. Due to the damper's design, it is self-tightening and will close tightly using The O-ring that you find on your mouthpiece.
• The QDL or Quick Detach Lock also works with your Silent Steel muzzle device. Here, the O-ring is simply removed and thereby the ball bearings in the silencer lock onto the brake. The silencer is quick and easy to mount/dismount, even when it is very hot. With QDL, the silencer can withstand a very high shot cadence (read full-auto).
