"MCRS - Infantry Chest Rig Front - Plackart Ready" is a hybrid chest rig that combines a traditional chest rig with the concept of replaceable plackarts seen on various modern bulletproof vests on the market.
Interchangeable plate types allow the user to quickly switch between different setups while keeping parts of the setup unchanged. This could be switching between different calibers of weapons while keeping the same radio and IFAK on the chest rig.
"MCRS - Infantry Chest Rig Front - Plackart Ready" is compatible with many other plackarts on the market using 1" side release buckles.
"MCRS - Infantry Chest Rig Front - Plackart Ready, Size 12" has built-in pockets for safe storage of various items.
The Velcro hook on the side of the chest rig facing the body helps stabilize the front of any body armor or ballistic vest that has a front Velcro loop.
On the bottom of the front, the extra part acts as a mounting point for any utility wallet. Although the chest rig is still compatible with traditional danglers and dangler adapters, this feature allows any utility pouch to function as a "dangler pouch". We recommend that you consider the GP Utility Pouch, 6x2 Pro Line.
If you choose to start with "MCRS - Infantry Chest Rig Front - Plackart Ready", you must obtain the combination A, B, C, D, E + F.
"E" is for pairs of Metal G-Hooks that allow you to mount the front to any harness (B, C) you choose. We sell Metal G-Hooks separately to reduce the cost of the front itself. This allows you to use your own G-Hooks if you already have any.
"F" is "MCRS - MOLLE Plackart" that attaches to the front of this chestrig front. If you want to be able to quickly switch between several plate types, you can buy several of these, as they are sold as individual components.
